This machine can sand both weft-knitted and warp-knitted fabrics. It supports both dry and wet sanding processes, ensuring adaptability to different fabric types and finishing requirements.

In addition to ordinary textile fabrics, it can also sand high-spandex (up to 30%) nylon or polyester blended fabrics, which are currently popular internationally.

For fabrics with high spandex content, traditional dry sanding can generate excessive heat during high-speed friction, causing the spandex fibers to become brittle and lose strength. This often results in fabric breakage and a stiff, uneven texture. Wet sanding, however, addresses these issues effectively. The water used in the process dissipates the heat generated by friction, preventing fiber damage and maintaining fabric strength. Additionally, the moisture lubricates the fabric surface and penetrates deeper into the fibers, reducing fiber shedding and achieving a short, tight surface finish without compromising fabric integrity. Post wet sanding, the fabric exhibits a soft, velvety hand feel and a refined, vintage appearance with minimal visible fuzz.
